What's the schedule?

For people arriving earlier in the week, there are a lot of activities in the area from hiking, wineries, whale watching, and more. You can find some of our favorite places and recommendations here. And, for those interested, several of us will be doing some relatively easy hiking around MT Rainier on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (all are welcome!).

We will be hosting a Welcome Gathering beginning on Friday, July 14th at 5:00 pm at Optimism Brewery in downtown Seattle. There will be food trucks on site, or your welcome to bring your own food from elsewhere.

The wedding will start on Saturday, July 15th at 4:30 pm. Please arrive no later than 4:50 pm for the wedding ceremony. Dinner, dancing and other activities will go until 11:00 pm. After this, we will head over to McMenamins Tavern in downtown Bothell for more celebrations. Due to limited parking at the venue, we encourage everyone to use Uber or Lyft for transportation.

Is there a hotel block available?

Not yet but we have linked McMenamins and Willows Lodge as two hotels we would recommend. In addition, we'd recommend checking Airbnb and VRBO.

Will there be a formal invitation?

Yes! Once we have your address from the save the date form, we will put it into our address book when it is time to send formal invitations! Our goal is have our invites to your mailbox the first week of April.

When's the last day to RSVP?

June 1st, 2023

Are babies and kids allowed to attend?

Yes, young children are more than welcome to be at the ceremony and reception. Just reach out to us in advance.

What should I plan to wear?

Dress code is Garden Party or Semi-Formal Attire. For women wearing high heels, we would strongly recommend a block heel as we will be walking on grass. Nights are crisp and refreshing in the PNW you may want something light for the evening.

What is there to do locally?

Woodinville and Bothell are very accessible suburbs to neighboring cities Bellevue and Seattle. If you are interested in renting bikes for your stay you can bike from Bothell to Woodinville to explore the vast array of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and wineries. If you take the same bike trail in the other direction, you can bike all the way to downtown Seattle.

We highly recommend hiking while you are in town and are happy to share our favorite trails with you!
